Revisit the neon decade of 1980s Britain, most notoriously the rise of the second industrial revolution. 1980s Britain: Money Changes Everything takes a look at how Britain was an age of boom and bust, greed and LYCRA®, as well as some pretty historic events. The exhibition includes nostalgic toys, technology, and culture. Make sure to catch the exhibition before it finishes at the Museum of Gloucester.

  • Dick Whittington and His Cat Tweedy at the Everyman Theatre

Join Dick, Tweedy and friends as they head off to that there London to seek their fortune. Monday 2nd January at 14:00 will be a performance with British Sign Language interpreted performance. Wednesday 4th January at 10:30 and 16:30 will be relaxed performances and are ideal for people with learning disabilities, autism or anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment.

Celebrating incredible women behind the camera in Gloucester. This 100 x 100 photography exhibition aims to encourage more women to pick up a camera and get into photography. 100 x 100 is organised by the Museum of Gloucester and local charity Hundred Heroines, the only UK charity dedicated to celebrating women in photography.
