We stopped at this pub for lunch in the middle of a hike. The food was delicious and came quickly. We did have to sit outside and we were okay with this as we had muddy boots and a dog.

Last minute booking, they fitted us in no issue, on valentine's day as well. Great menu, offering a variety of choices. The food was all homemade and delish! Great view. Friendly staff. Will deffo return!

Very good food, freshly cooked. My friend loved the cheese, onion and mustard tart made by the landlady, and I had tender liver and bacon. We shared a delicious brownie. Good gf and veggie options. Friendly. Really recommend.

Once you have made your booking, we’ll look forward to giving you a warm welcome along with your choice from our eclectic menu. We’re renowned for our traditional dishes which taste ever so much better here because we use local ingredients, so you can enjoy the true flavours of the Cotswolds.

We always have a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options, and if you have any allergies or food intolerances let us know and we’ll make sure there are delicious alternatives available for you.

There’s also a children’s menu, and if you are not in the mood for a large meal we have a selection of pub favourite “light bites” you can tuck into, washed down with our local ales.
