Sunday Lunch
If you’ve worked up an appetite with a Sunday stroll around Painswick, or a brisk walk through the beautiful Slade Valley, where better to end up for Sunday lunch than the cosy, iconic Edgemoor Inn – a traditional country pub famed for fantastic food, a warm welcome and spectacular views.
Locals and visitors alike are usually surprised at our eclectic menu, but of course on Sundays the main draw is a traditional Sunday roast. We like to think our roast is a cut above the rest. Like all our menu items, our Sunday lunch ingredients are all hand prepared from scratch, and sourced as far as possible from local producers. When you dine with us for Sunday lunch you are imbibing the true flavours of the Cotswolds, right down to the local ales we have available.
Our Sunday roasts vary, but we generally offer a choice of meats and a range of traditional vegetable accompaniments and garnishes, including, of course, the old stalwarts – crispy roast potatoes, fluffy Yorkshire puddings and delicious gravy. Our menu includes vegetarian options.
