We were a party of three for Lunch on Thursday 21st March.. My mother has a rollator walking aid and the staff could not have been more helpful.. They gave us a table next to the window with plenty of space around (the views are outstanding, absolutely beautiful). The staff are super friendly and efficient and made us feel very welcome from the start. The Food, well it is excellent, tasty and well presented, to start with my mother and I shared the Tempura Prawns and my husband had the whitebait - fantastic.. The main courses were the sea bass, the chicken, mushroom and thyme pie and the homemade steak pie - all absolutely delicious... Dessert ( well all the other courses were fantastic so why not) the sponge cake and icecream, and the panacotta with blackberry sauce and icecream ( the panacotta was silky smooth with a great wobble) We are looking forward to a swift return. You won't regret your visit, just do so asap

Wow what a find. Definitely one of the best places we have been to in a long time. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Lots of choices if you are vegetarian/gf. We went twice whilst on holiday and would definitely recommend. Meals were absolutely delicious 😋

We had a lovely lunch, with very polite and professional service. There is a good a la carte menu, but no provision for some traditional pub light plates, such as cabanas or sandwiches. So we had a selection of starters, which were excellent, bar the soft and squishy falafel. The patio area overlooking the magnificent Painswick Valley was a joy to sit out on. There's shaded area if need be. It was disappointing to see so many plant pots with dread or dying plants, or just dry compost. It wouldn't take a lot of effort to replant and tidy them. For a Friday lunch time it was very quiet, which may be down to not offering some traditional pub lunch fare. Not withstanding what I've mentioned, we shall return when we're next visiting the area

Great views and menu options. We visited after a weekend of heavy celebrating so were not able to indulge in the full menu. However, everyone was happy with their choices

“Lovely outdoor dining patio/terrace with great views. Food was traditional and good value. More like a restaurant than a pub indoors, but excellent ales on sale.” – Robert, Google Review, August 2024

“I stumbled across The Edgemoor Inn whilst driving past and arrived with no expectations. From the moment that I walked through the door I was made to feel welcome. My table had magnificent views across the valley. There was a selection of drinks to suit most tastes: I thoroughly enjoyed a well-kept pint of bitter from the local Uley brewery. The food was freshly prepared with care and attention to detail. Both starter and main were exceptionally good. The menu has a good selection of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. For me this has been the discovery of an unexpected gem. I will be back.” – Kevin, Google Review, August 2024

“Wow wonderful food with a fabulous view! Our daughter and fiancé have been raving about this place for ages and finally took us last night. All our food was outstanding and no corners cut with frozen any thing all home cooked… the staff were great and the view even with the changeable weather we had last night was incredible. Can’t wait to return.” – wisewonderer1223, Tripadvisor Review, July 2024

“If you want a delicious vegetarian meal with friendly service and panoramic views of the beautiful Cotswolds then The Edgemoor Inn is for you. There was a wide variety of dishes to choose from – vegetarian, vegan and meat. We complimented the landlord on there being so much choice for vegetarians and he confirmed that they were all homemade by his wife. We look forward to returning again soon.” – Geraldine B, Tripadvisor Review, March 2024

“Beautiful views, clean and bright dining areas. I am normally an avid meat eater, but my friend and I opted for the salads as a main. They didn’t disappoint. Good portion sizes and appropriate prices. We will definitely return.” – Rachel, Google Review, July 2024
