The Edgemoor Inn is wonderful! The reviews all mention the views, and they are indeed a sight to behold! 😮 What rated so highly for us was that there was a vegetarian section on the menu, meaning my husband could eat meat and I could eat veggie (it is very hard to find somewhere we are BOTH happy 😂). It wasn’t just the token “mushroom risotto” that seems to serve as the vegetarian option on most menus either! There was an actual list of choices! The food was divine! I had halloumi to start and Joe had salmon pâté. For our main course Joe had steak pie and I had falafel. For dessert, Joe had the key-lime pie and I had the baked cheesecake. The food was AMAZING! I’m not a foodie, but Joe is, and even he said you could taste the quality of the ingredients … Which brings me onto my next pleasant surprise; they source as much of their produce locally as possible! The staff were attentive and friendly and we will definitely visit again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the edgemoor inn. Staff are friendly and welcoming and very obliging. Food is modest portions but absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced which I much prefer leaving room for desert which was absolutely moorish. I cannot wait to return. Oh and how about that view. Make sure you check opening hours they are fairly restricted but definitely worth making a visit you wont be disappointed

Poor quality food, tiny portions, dismal atmosphere, miserable staff. Try Fagins Brookthorpe just further down the road.

Once you have made your booking, we’ll look forward to giving you a warm welcome along with your choice from our eclectic menu. We’re renowned for our traditional dishes which taste ever so much better here because we use local ingredients, so you can enjoy the true flavours of the Cotswolds.

We always have a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options, and if you have any allergies or food intolerances let us know and we’ll make sure there are delicious alternatives available for you.

There’s also a children’s menu, and if you are not in the mood for a large meal we have a selection of pub favourite “light bites” you can tuck into, washed down with our local ales.
