Halloween Party and Into The Night

Looking for a fun way to celebrate Halloween with the whole family? The Halloween Party and Disco Night at The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum is the perfect option. There will be spooky activities including making invisible ink and writing a secret note with a quill, design a magic wand and even have a go at making your own potion. The party also includes access to the Into the Night exhibit, which explores nocturnal creatures. Tickets are available online, so be sure to book yours here!

Halloween at Berkeley Castle

This Spooktacular event is the perfect event for the family this Halloween. As well as the atmospheric setting of the castle, there are great activities and events in store. With Wizard’s owls, pumpkin carving and storytelling, as well as a visit into the Witches’ cellar. Lying on the banks of the River Severn, Berkeley Castle sits on a 6,000 acre estate, including one of the best examples of a mediaeval deer park in the country. Berkeley itself goes back in time as far as the Castle, and evidence suggests that there was a large Saxon settlement and possibly, a Roman Temple. The Showcase: A Special Racing Event

Fancy a Halloween Raceday make sure to visit The Showcase is a special racing event that takes place at Cheltenham Racecourse. This year’s event features the sport of racing, including special Q&A sessions with racing greats. The Showcase raises the curtain to the 2024/25 Cheltenham season, once again, the thundering hooves, eager participants and excited fans will return to the Home of Jump Racing on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 October 2024.

Pick up a Pumpkin

What Halloween is complete without a Pumkin? Grab a wheelbarrow and roam through one of the many pumpkin patches across Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud. Pick the perfect pumpkin, take part in some fun and games, explore the countryside, and fuel up on tasty treats.

Get into the Halloween spirit by picking your own pumpkin at Cotswold Farm Park. The pumpkin patch is open on weekends throughout October from 4th to 31st. Also, you can head over to Pumpkin picking at Primrose Vale which is open on weekend for pumpkin picking all the way through October.
